Christie Slams Protesters At Romney New Hampshire Campaign Rally
January 9, 2012

Topic: Chris Christie takes Romney's side and took over rally

In this article, it talks about how protesters crashed Mitt Romney's campaign rally and how Governor Chris Christie defended Romney and stopped it. Protesters came in screaming "Mitt Kills Jobs", Romney handled the manner in a polite way, which can impact on helping people decide if they should vote for him, because he didn't crack under that pressure. But, Christie handled it a totally different way, when somebody said "Chritie kills jobs" he replied with "Something may go down tonight but it' not going to be jobs, sweetheart." He made the protesters start to criticize Barack Obama instead of Romney, saying that Romney will "bring the people together."
New information that i learned from this article is that Chris Christie would be Romney's vice presidential running mate if he wins that Republican nomination. I think this little event can have an impact on the political arena because it can either win Romney more votes, or make him lose votes. Win votes because people can see how he handled that situation and how he was calm, but lose votes because of the way his eventual vice presidential running mate chris christie handled i

Newt Gingrich: "Obama is hopeless"

Author: CNN
Topic: Gingrich says he is best candidate to run against Obama
Click here to watch this video
In this interview, Gingrich takes shots at Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Gingrich says he thinks that once they get into South Carolina and Florida, that he will start winning this GOP race. He says that he is not willing to give anymore states up to Romney from that day forward. He doesn't believe that a Massachusetts moderate can compete against Obama, saying that Obama will have a billion dollar campaign being all negative. He also takes shots at Obama, saying that his campaign slogan went from "Yes we can" to "Why we couldn't". He says that he is the one candidate that can go head-to-head with Obama, and convince the American people that Obama is hopeless.
This can affect the way people think of Gingrich a lot, maybe some will actually believe what he is saying or they can think its a whole bunch of nonsense and he's just trying to revive his campaign. New information that i learned is that Gingrich really thinks that he can beat all the other candidates including Romney, and even defeat Obama for the presidency. This interview can change the political arena today because it can give people insight on what Gingrich's plan is to do further along the race. So, lets see if Newt Gingrich really does know the "truth"..
