Topic: Tensions rise on Republican side between Gingrich and Romney
Summary
The problems that are addressed in this article are that a lot of the Republican candidates are making ads toward Newt Gingrich saying that he isn't the same person as people think he is, and even called him "a serial hypocrite". There are a lot of results from all of these ads and interviews done by the Republican candidates that can affect the way the public views some of them. One way is that it might get the public thinking about Gingrich and is he really the man that he claims he is. But then it'll get people thinking about Romney because he supports some of "Obamacare" and not a lot of Republicans agree with it.
Some new information that I learned was that there are actually some Republicans that agree with some policies that are made by Democrats that a lot of other Republicans really don't agree with. Another thing that i learned was that Mitt Romney worked in a private sector for about 17 years. I could use this information by helping me understand what some of these candidates stand for and their beliefs and if i was able to vote, would help me figure out who to vote for.
The author doesn't really take a position on this article, so i would say it's neutral. This article, i think, could have a big impact on the political arena today because it kind of shines a different light on some of the candidates, especially Newt Gingrich, which could change some people's opinion about him.
